Nice car! What kinda wheels are they? Wheel size&tire size looks nice.

ar wheels i think just plain chrome nuggets 15x8 with 275/5015 and 15x7 with 235/6015.....

I had a set of them with the black centers on my old '79 Monte many years ago. at the time, American Racing called them "Modular" wheels - usually listed in the catalog as "chrome modular" or "black modular". I liked the black modular wheels because they sort of had the GNX wheel look when flying down the road.

I like that tire combo, I've run it myself a couple of times, but I haven't been able to find anymore 275/50/15 street tires. I've checked Discount Tire, Tire Rack and Summit Racing and they all say no one makes a 275/50/15 street tire anymore, not even BFG. There are a few drag radials available in that size. What brand of tires are you running (275/50)?

FWIW, I'm running 235/60's on the front and 255/60's on the rear now.
