Nitromethane was used insteead of meth??

Im not going to do this but its just a question. I came across a site sellling nitrometh. So im just wondering..

i have tried this one time. only about 6-7%mixw/methanol. i hazed the tires at 60 mph with bfgs drag radials . 02 was real high but car ran sweet didnt want to try it to much with out testing first .ill throw some in next time at track and will see if any real gains.but it didnt pop .but is far from a stocker 28 psi no knock.just dont know long term what would happen .but was fun at the time :biggrin:

Snow Performance sells little 8 oz bottles of nitromethane to be used with their alky kits. They claim 60hp gain on a test car. The car was a 900hp turbo v8 mustang though. You use the whole bottle when you fill up the systems res. It is about a 25% mixture.

i used about 6 oz per 1/2 gallon tank and like i said i felt a diff but didnt want to hurt my little motor ,if it is ok to do without damaging engine i will more often . i will ck out snows and see cuz last thing i want to do is hurt my motor. i had to sell my 85 hot air car with 54 k original on her just to finish this motor .thanks for the input :biggrin:
