I would like to install a K & N filter and aluminum MAF pipe on my car. What is the easiest route to go with a minimum of cutting and modifcations?
Thanks, Jim

You have a few options. Check out John's Performance - Your Turbo Trans Am and Grand National Specialists. They carry a pipe that goes from the plastic tube to the MAF and you can put a K&N on the other end of the MAF. Grumpy is working on a full tube that goes from the turbo to the MAF but they are not ready yet. Of if you have some tube bending tools and skills of your own of a friend that goes the could bend you up something.

Thanks Jeff. I've seen the pipe on John's site. I was hoping to eliminate the plastic pipe as well as the flexible hose. I'll try to be patient and wait for Grumpy's.

Search Veesixx's posts. He just posted his new setup. I think its what you want. :)

I took the K&N / aluminum pipe setup off mine and returned it to stock last year. I have the soft pipe but not the firm piece (so I have the soft running over the top of the aluminum for a stock look). If you're interested in giving up your stock pieces, I'll give you the whole K&N setup I had - I'm in CT so I'm close as well. - if you're not interested but interested in selling a stock piece or two when you're done, let me know that as well! Thanks!!

No matter what I do, I'll be saving the stock pieces. Sorry.
Where in CT are you? My son plays baseball for UMass, so I'm on I91 almost every week during the season.

yeah...we exchanged emails a few weeks back about the spoiler. I'm about 4 miles off I 91 - right across the river from Cromwell in Portland, CT - If you're driving through and want to stop, just drop me a note.
