Preparing to install pistons onto K1 rods, does it matter which way the rods face? Both sides look the same to me, I remember the stock rods were direction specific.

the rods are offset just like stockers and must be put in directional . with my K1's the the "logo stamp" was the same in relationship to the 2 boss/dots on a stock rod . figured this out by compareing it to a stock rod I had kicking around . I emailed Tom at K1 about it and the reply I got is seen below . I always postioned my rods as follows : Drivers side/ 2 dots to rear of engine , Passenger side / 2 dots towards front of engine . this method also postions the bearing tangs correctly as mentioned by Tom . :)

"The bearing tangs go toward the pan rail and the large offset in the rod goes toward the counterweight."
