KB Stage 3 turbos

I just had my old Kenne Bell Stage 3 turbo rebuilt by John Craig at Limit Engineering. They are saying that this turbo is a TA-49. Kenne Bell told the guy i bought it off of that it was a 51. Anyone know for sure?

How old is this turbo? I know the stage 3 from the late 90s looks ALOT like a TA-49.

It needed 3000 stall to get it going. A 49 woulda spooled better with the stock convertor I would think.
