Hello All,

Just tried installing my Kenne Bell Fuel Pressure Gauge. I noticed a fuel leak on the fitting right by the schrader valve. It looks like the fuel is coming out from this weep hole on the fitting of the hose. See pics. Please let me know what i am doing wrong. Also if it is a bad hose. Where can i get a replacement. Also my gauge did not come with the bulb or socket where to put a bulb. Can you please tell me what i need get it working. Picture would be great.

Thanks

Ummm... that hose doesn't go straight to the fuel rail/schrader fitting.... the KB gage kit comes with an adapter that goes between the fuel inlet hard line and the rail with a -AN fitting coming off it to feed the hose. I'm pretty damn sure you can't just screw that hose to the schrader fitting... it's not an -AN fitting.... you will need some kind of adapter there with a male -AN to fit the hose, which is -4 AN...

Thanks! Unfortunately It didn't come with the correct fitting. Person that sold it to me just said to go direct to the fuel rail  Oh well. Purchased this a while back of a board member. No sense in opening a can of worms. However I noticed that another member was able to go direct to the rail. See jurassic five 7 post. I think I have located some AN adapters that might work.

IF I WERE YOU....lol.... I would just call John Spina at Casper's Electronics and get his adapter that is the same as the original Kenne Bell... it's cheap, installs inline, like the original, leaves the schrader valve on the front of the rail intact, and has a much more compact/clean hose routing to the gage... the hose you already have (original KB, as seen in the pics) will fit perfectly, routed along the trailing edge of the underside of the hood with little plastic clamps... if you run the hose from the front of the rail/shrader, your hose will prolly be to short, or at least have a severe, untidy u-bend, and be stretched to the gage, if it will make it.... and the adapter you are talking about will prolly cost almost as much as casper's.... and all Casper's products are second to none.... that's my advice..

If you follow my advice, make sure you put a section of wire loom protector (like the stock stuff) around the braided hose coming from the adaptor, so the stainless hose won't rub/abrade the aluminum a/c evap hardline... ask me how I know!!!

I can post a pic of mine if you want.... LMK..

Just looked at the fitting even more closely. It appears that there is a small hairline crack on inside the red fitting. Where can I get a replacement. Also what size am I looking for. Thanks for all the help.

Standard aluminum female -4 AN fitting.... available anywhere... even the local autozone/oreilly's/etc. can order you one if they don't have one in stock... there's a 'process' to assembling the hose... kind of a beitch the first time you do it, but not bad after you've done a few times... there's a million videos and instructions out there on how to do it... just google it for a DIY on how to assemble braided hose.... here's one for example:

Sorry to bring this back up. Been looking around for a female -4 AN fitting. All I seem to find is a -6 or -8. Can you please point me in the right direction.
