I have the Kenne Bell ram air setup on my car and need to know how to clean the air filter. It looks very similar to a K&N filter but I'm not sure it's made out of the same material. Can you just use soap and water or do I need to oil it after cleaning? Thanks for any help.

I just used the K&N filter cleaning kit on mine with the cleaner and oil. Hope that was ok, everything seems to be working ok.

I had one and used mild dish detergent soap, not much in a large pail of warm water.

Several washes and lots of rinses with cold water.

No oil.

I have since switched to the K+N filters.

My 10 year old Kenne Bell one was beyond dirty.... :D

warm water and soap. I use an air hose to quiken drying time. Polyester I believe is what there made from. Mine is 12 years old and going strong. I,d buy another if needed. No oil or special cleaning solution needed. Suppose to be able to flow up to 800 cfm.

Thanks for the link, however someone get this guy a real web page. These guys forget that us Buick folk work hard and the only time we have is online at night when the wife and kids are sleeping. How could you sell anything with that webpage?
