I'm at school now, so my sister's driving around my car. She said when she puts the key in the ignition, it won't turn at all, so she can't start the car. It's a console shift car, before my dad goes and takes apart the column to fool around with it, any suggestions?

Swap out the key and tumbler, may be bad. I think this happened to me before on my Suburban (same type of steering column as our TRs).
If I remember it locked up like your describing, been a few years though.

Make sure the collar on the steering column is turn all the way counter-clockwise. Even with console shift, the collar is still used to lock-out the key. Turn it by hand.

Shake the steering wheel back and forth while you turn the key. I've personally had it happen!

I had this same problem about a month ago, and the key i got with the car wouldnt turn, but luckily I had a freshly made GM key in my wallet and that one worked great! Give that a whirl, or try graphite or break free in the lock cylinder (anyone tried any of this before?)
