I use a cranck sensor kill switch and an ecm kill switch (very rarely), but I just came across another possible setup.

The "oil pressure switch", if open will not let the car start.

I've been thinking about using a small light in the pilar post gauge holder to tell me when the switch is on, which would be most of the time, so a light that tells me when the switch is open would be better.

Dat what I was thinking. Car will start bcause fp relay will get prime signal at first key on. If that circuit poops , then car will start AFTER oil pressuer builds on an engine being cranked over-this was done as a backup for a bad fp relay. Now how does one stop fp regardless? intercept fp fuse behind fuse panel.;)

Oh yea, hotwiring could confuse the issue. In this case spice into the aftermarket relay's COIL wiring.
