Quentin Jackson might have ground game like a Gracie...might not.

Ya don't really know because he knocks people the F out...quickly. Anybody that can throw a lick like that has a chance.

I never really thought Q Jackson would put Chuck Lidell on the back burner like he did, but......

I hope Kimbo makes his mark just because I like an underdog. Its got to be tough to make yourself a star by knocking people out in alleys and vacant lots. It definitely takes determination. With determination, a strong jaw, and a killer uppercut he might climb up the ladder for a little while...I will have fun watching.

I agree...xept for Q possibly having Gracie ground game.

I hope Kimbo does well.

Just don't think knocking out a 42 year old Fat out of shape Slob with a losing record since 1995 isn't exactly a stepping stone. ;)

Ken Shamrock announced his return to MMA in Elite XC. Shamrock vs. Kimbo would be interesting if Shamrock could get Kimbo to the ground.

i've met kimbo in person and the guys not a jerk, as some would think ( i did before meeting him) shamrock will get creamed by kimbo, i think a better fight would be with kimbo and heath hearing, shamrock was good when he was younger but now time and the sport has passed him by, he makes a great teacher though. just my 2 cents

It would be interesting in the sense that it would be a good test for Kimbo, especially if Shamrock can get Kimbo to the ground, which would be hard considering the weight differences, but it's possible. I think Shamrock needed some time to refocus, especially after those embarrassing losses to Ortiz. Ortiz is a great fighter(way too cocky IMO though) but Shamrock should've lasted much longer than he did. I agree that Shamrock's prime is behind him. The fighting style has changed so much that it is hard for guys like Shamrock or even Royce Gracie to adapt.
Herring vs. Kimbo would be interesting. Herring definitely wouldn't make the same mistake he did with Nogueira, when he let him up after a head kick which nearly knocked him out. Herring would have to be a lot more cautious with Kimbo.

I don't think thats an accomplishment either...but that aint the only person I have seen him knock out.

And Q may have killer ground game but I haven't seen it because he too, knocks people the F out.

Only one way to tell though...let em "Get it On!"
