Kirban CAI question

My next upgrade is going to be an intake. I like the Kirban design because it looks like it keeps the filter closer to the fresh air. Can someone post a picture of one installed? I can't tell if it replaces the whole system or not (meaning the stock flex tube). Did you notice a difference in performance AND sound?

What intake on Kirban's site? Do you mean the Tinman intake Kirban sells? Yes, it moves the filter to a colder than under the hood location, although, there are 180 degree apart views on this forum about its actual worth. I recently changed my setup and went with a similar design intake to the one Kirban sells and love it.
