I converted my 84 to 86 ecm with a chip from red armstrong for my 36# injectors. First I went with the 84 maf and the right cal pak. Then swapped computers from the 87 and put on the 87 maf. I getting knock as low as 5 to 6 pounds of boost. After talking to Lee I also swapped out module on the fender well, Passenger side. Might have been a spark module, or a knock sensor relay. Either way still have knock. What next.
I put the 84 stuff back on and get 14 pounds with no knock on 93 octane.
