was wondering if there was any laptops that didnt work well with powerlogger, i was thinking of changeing from old dell to maybe a new mac, are these compatible or any work better, let me know thanks.

I would contact Bob and see if he has run the Powerlogger on a Mac with Windows loaded. I love my MacBook Pro but I dont use it for my FAST XFI.

I never tried to get ahold of any one in these forms do i just look and see if turbo bob is online and then try to get ahold of him or how eles thanks

I never tried tto get ahold of someone on this site do i search and see if he is online here or is there another way

thanks but still want to know about mac, my reason for change is old dell computer slow and even with new bigger battery it still only last 1 hr time for upgrade is guess

Its a PC program, and I'm not a MAC user so I don't know what the details are for running windows stuff on a MAC.

On a side note, running a charging cord or inverter to keep the laptop running in the car can cause problems. If the cig ltr ground is not good, the laptop, inverter, or charger will try to use the powerlogger for its ground. This can kill the powerlogger, and/or the ECM.

So whatever you use, run it on battery power.

Thanks for the reply , I tried an inverter and inverter got to hot I unpluged it ,thought it would burn up cig lighter figured wires not made for it.maybe run heavier wire direct from battery to new inverter if i don't get new cumputer. thanks again

I would spend your time/energy/money on a new battery, or a laptop with a good battery.

Bob
