largest turbo thats....

what is the largest turbo (preferable by PT&E) that you can get that is 3 bolt and does not need an external wastegate

this is just out of curiousity

My nbew 67 uses a THDP. I'm sure you can go even bigger than that.

I believe the PT88 is. Terry Houston and others have run this turbo in a 3 bolt version and gone very fast.
The main problem with the larger turbos is that you would give up a lot of power with a 3 bolt housing. The on center is a step up from the 3 bolt and the Tangential would be the best. Only problem with those is they require header modifications and specific down pipes and external waste gates.
