Don't know if they offer these Larin aluminum 2-ton jack at the mainland Costco but we have it here. Just passing this to you guys, this is a awsome jack if one of your guys are looking for a good jack at a decent price this is the one. I compared this to the new Sears aluminum jack this Larin jack is much better. This jack is huge, light and low clearance.

in my limited exp. most if not all jacks are now a throwaway Items, I have waisted a few MVP brand Jacks. I even bought what i thought was a nice 3 ton craftsman jack and it lasted 2 years before it would not lift my Truck(s) any more.

on a side note I have have some Bottle jacks that Will lift any thing at any time. I use them now.................

thats pretty cool i might have to get one. Right now i'm using a cornwell moster jack or something like that. its pretty cool, probably lower than that one but man is it heavy. its probably around 120lb, and its physically not that big.

But as for jacks being throw away items, i have to disagree with that. my dad has an old OLD walker jack, its probably 4-5 feet long, you know the size i'm talking about. its probably from the early 60's or so. aside from a leak that new o rings fixed it works like a champ.

I guess you could also blame that one on them not making things like they used to.

BINGO! you said the 60s! some of the Bottle jacks we have my grandfather more then prolly stole from phelps Dodge Mining corp while he was working for them. they work like a charm! but the MVP/larkin/harbor freight suck! they are throwaway after about 2 years. Unless I buy a high $$$ jack I guess I am stuck with cheap Chinese Crap!

A good lift is cheaper then a nice 3 ton floor jack from Snap-on
