This is a copy of the email I got from Jason Cramer on monday. Most of it is on the Utah guys.

We had a blast at the west coast nationals in Las Vegas this year. The club
day was pretty cool. It really showed how superior the Buick GN performance
was to many other models of cars. There were some very fast supras there but
they have one good run out of 10 so are very difficult to be consistent
winners. The guys from Utah had a very strong showing. Literally everyone
ran their best times at the event even though the weather was not perfect.
The track staff was awesome and were not hassled about anything.

Tom Dykeman the new guy had a great time. his wife made the delicious ribs
for Saturdays BBQ. It was great hanging out and BSing with everyone during
the day on Saturday.
Tom ran his best ever time of 13.51 @ 104. This was on pump gas at 16# of
boost. yes there is a LOT more left in it but he was just getting used to
the new found power and learning how to race. For a newbie he went further
in the bracket than anyone from UT. Way to go Tom!! We are glad to have Tom
on our UT Buick team.

Dave Johnson's (syco Dave) car ran great at the event. He lubed up the track
a little but maybe that was good so they would do a fresh track prep for the
rest of us ;)
Dave ran a 10.14 @ 133. This is awesome performance considering he was at
less than 20# of boost.

Ronnie ran his best time at the track and was very happy. his car ran
flawlessly all weekend. he ran a best of 11.73 at a blistering 119 mph. He
probably could have run a low 11 if he was a little more aggressive on the
launch but he was very happy. Ryan did a good job tuning his car at the
event dropping it from mid 12s to the 11s

Ryan's car ran incredible. He popped off a 10.67 and a 10.68 @ 126. The
track did not hassle him a bit for not having a rollbar. his car ran
flawless all weekend and had many wheels up launches with 60' in the 1.5s it
was awesome to watch his car go.

My car ran pretty good also. We had a few bugs to work out with the new
combo but we got them worked our and netted a new Vegas best of 9.69 @ 139.
The boost gage never quite hit 24#. a little problem kept us from really
turning it up to see what it would do.

Len Freeman ran a new world record with an unbelievable 6.96 @ 197. it is
indescribable to watch this car make a pass. It was on the edge of traction
all the way to the finish line. one pass he smoked the tires at the big end
and knocked a center cone over with the rear of his car. this was near the
finish line! He also had his new best 60' time of 1.06. I can't imagine what
that feels like. it was the fastest anything at the track. it was even
faster than every single dragster there. He really held the Buick flag high
for all of the rest of us with this world record setting performance.

The crowd was great also. they were very appreciative of the Buicks being
there. Every time we had a qualifying round the crowd would cheer at every
cars pass. it was great! I even had a few good looking women give me the
thumbs up and yell we love grand nationals!! super cool.

just wanted to give everyone an update hopefully i was correct on all the
numbers. if you missed this event you really missed a good time. we had a
great track and staff, good weather and most of all the best company
anywhere!
