Last night 10/12..

I think everyone was running good last night at Irwindale.. the weather and temp was GREAT.. Brent was pulling off mid 1.5* 60ft's and sub 7 passes.. the 2 stage motor cars were amazing pulling off 1.4* and 1.3* 60fts off the foot brake.. Hopefully they will post up their times..

i happen to get 4 runs in last night. one was a 6.88 at 102 , 6.77 at 104 and 6.77 at 103..

The best run was with a 1.48 60ft at 16psi brake launch was a 6.61 at 105.22 at 24psi.

It was fun chatting with everyone at the track.. Thanks to everyone for their help

Hey nordy couple more pounds of boost and a better launch you should see your 6.50 at 107mph . not bad for a 3,700+ pounds car.

Good #'s Mike. Sounds like your car is on par with the 1/4 mile times you ran back east. Should be fun out in AZ at Thanksgiving.

Nice to met some new guys and see some of the old faces. I have not had my car out to Irwindale in quite some time. It was a good night even though my fuel cutoff was set on the FAST for 6500 rpm and I was blind to see the problem until it was time to leave. So every time it shifted the fuel would cut off until the rpms came down to 6200 rpm. Still managed to get a 1.43 sixty and 6.5 @109.

I think the weather will be primo. I'm planning on racing as long as my car makes it there. It's been a while since I hit the strip and my "new" seatbelts are almost expired. I have a new fire jacket I got for Christmas that's still hanging in my closet. I'm sure I'll be a little rusty but I'm looking forward to it. It's time to put a flogging on the ole stock block motor. :biggrin:

i'm in the same boat, my seatbelts expire in Dec 06 and i only got to use them a total of 1 year :frown: .. looking forward to hanging out and picking up some tips from ya ..

Jeff is one of the "good guys". He was the first guy I knew that had a street driven 11 second GN back in 1990 or so. At the time I was a big block guy then I got the turbo bug and it's been down hill ever since. :biggrin: His 60 fts are pretty good for a foot brake car eh?

Also Summit offers belts that can be recertified, so you would get 4 years use.
