where the hell have you been man... secretly building your BEAST i see :biggrin: .. when you hitting the track with your new set-up?

Well Ive been trying to work out the bugs while installing new mods and getting to the track, but Ive been so busy on the weekends. Ill try to get out to Barona next weekend to make a few more passes. Last time I went the starter took a crap @ the track and I had a few more bugs than expected! Only made to passes and they both sucked! So hopefully Ill do bettter this time! You should come down!!!!! You could crash @ my place!

Jeff is one of the "good guys". He was the first guy I knew that had a street driven 11 second GN back in 1990 or so. At the time I was a big block guy then I got the turbo bug and it's been down hill ever since. :biggrin: His 60 fts are pretty good for a foot brake car eh?

We live about 20 minutes from each other and he has helped me with my FAST junk.

Scott, did you get your toyick certifed yet, Jeff is going to try to make it out next time at Irwindale but they gave him a bonch of BS in teck

I was just kidding bro. We must have got the same tech guy 'cause I got nailed for the same thing last time out. Hope the blanket doesn't hold in too much heat! Also gotta come up with some hardware to mount a 'chute. BTW, know anyone with a sonic tester?

Is the sonic for the cage? You can try to check with my brother, I know he has done alot of cars to get certifed, but I think someone has to come out from NHRA to test it. What about your brothers car, is that certifed?

Yes, sonic for the cage. Thought I'd see if someone local had one before I have to load it on the trailer and take it to Glendora to NHRA. My brother's car is cert'd for 8.50's although it'll prob go much faster.

whats up Scott,long time no talk...... yeah your brothers car is going to be faster than 8.50s i bet.....when I saw it looked like death on wheels.....sick mustang, i hope you guys duke it out on the track....would probably be a good race. good luck with your truck.

It already went 9.01@152 on only 18psi so I doubt it would even be close between the two. Traction permitting my guess is 7.80/90's
