Can some of you guys that have experience launching a TR on a Pro Tree with a stageright Trans Brake give me some technique tips (stage first Etc) against Fords mostly N/A. Car had gone 1.54 60 fts and high 10's. on a sportsman tree. Keep in mind that once TB is engaged, i cannot roll into the second stage light.

I think you'll need an electric brake to launch effectively off a pro tree....best bet is just use your foot brake and build as much boost as you can hold

you "could" try staging first and set the brake, but a smart racer will just burn you down at the tree

We run midnight mayhem here in Vegas, which is an all street car event with a pro tree. I always either make damn sure I stage first and get it spooled, or else just ask the guy if he will let me stage first. Works pretty well.

hmmmm...that sounds like "friendly" racing.....can't say as I've run any races like that

Scott, if you went ahead and staged on me and started building boost, I'd just let you go....you'll either tear up your thrust bearing or converter by the time I staged...keep that in mind if you are racing for serious:)

Hey Woody, Which converter do you use with the 45A? Im seriously thinking about getting one. My car spools quicker than stock with the PT-54, Max Effort, and Vigilante "0" pump. Im thinking I would still be OK with a 45. Whatcha think??
