My alkycontrol pump is leaking from the pressure switch on the bottom. I pulled the three screws out and the plunger seal inside looks worn a little but everything else looks fine. Can you buy parts for these things?

Typically its from the seal material shrinking. If the seal shrinks it will have side-side play in the round hole. If thats the case, the diaphram 99.9% of the time will also be hurt.

If the seal has a tear in it, and fits snug.. changing the seal will cure the problem.

Example.. you get gasoline mixed with the methanol.. 3 weeks latter the seal shrinks from the petroleum contact.. now the seal leaks without any pressure.. you change the seal.. pressurize the system.. whalla another leak now from the head.

Typically I recommend sending the pump in for repaires. This way I can change the seal.. place the pump under pressure(200+ PSI) and confirm no leaks. If it has a leak.. then change the appropriate parts. If its just the seal.. its a 15 dollar repair.. if it needs the diaphram/valve.. it will be 80. If the motor has issues.. then you need a new pump.
