Lear Siegler seats

I have a set of Lear Siegler seats. They are complete, 2 fronts and rear seat. They NEED to be recovered. They are all there though. Manual tracks and all the knobs and trim pieces with head rests.

The knobs alone are fetching over $50.

$400 and delivery to Bowling Green available to save yourself some major money in shipping fees.

Question, do you know why 1 seat has colored thread on the turbo 6 and the other does not? I have a set or Lears without colored thread on my turbo 6 on both seats and the rear has NO leather/pleather ... just a question, and a free bump

I don't know, maybe these are the ultra rare ones!! :biggrin:

It looks like the embroidery may have peeled off, not. At any rate they need to be completely done.

re: the rears, I don't know..never actually paid attention, I just assumed the rears were done like that and always thought they were??

They are not a matched set. The colored one is 84 GN the stitched one is likely 83 T type. The T type probably had a cloth rear seat as well so that is probably from the GN. Others may be able to add more info but they are not a matched set is the bottom line. Hope that helps.

They are not a matched set. The colored one is 84 GN the stitched one is likely 83 T type. The T type probably had a cloth rear seat as well so that is probably from the GN. Others may be able to add more info but they are not a matched set is the bottom line. Hope that helps.

Good info! I think since they need recovering that this is still a great opportunity for anyone looking for a set of super comfortable and rare seats! I would jump on them if I didn't already have a set!

Here is a link from GM High Tech Performance 2005 GS Nationals. They could easily be re-finished like these were if the leather is good the rest is easy.

I'll be the first to admit I'm 84/5 car stooooppit So Idon't know the difference on the colors and take your word for it. Bottom line is really that they need full covers which are available through Gbodyparts and you'll have a matched set that looks brand new.

Headed to Bowling Green in 2 weeks. There are MANY people from Texas that come out that way. You know anyone in the local chapter? Could use them as a middle man to transport to you free of charge if so. What part of TX?
