Just got my motor back up and running. at idle after when warm about every 30 to 40 seconds it gets a slight cough and idle goes up slightly for about 5 seconds and then drops back to normal (750-775). when moving it runs great during normal acceleration and even if i get on it a little its fine. but if i stand on it it coughs. i have turbotweak 5.6 with 36lbrs (bluetop) boost set at 10-11 lbs. blms at idle are around 124 but the higher the throttle goes the blm drops, about 119 at the lowest. earlier i raised the boost to 14 lbs and its now smoother but stills coughs. dont have a PL log just yet but will tomorrow. during all this i have gotten a few knock counts (7 is highest ive seen) but i have yet to see any knock retard.

idle
iac- about 18
tps- .42

my questions are these:
1. my papers with chip states max boost 16-18 lbs. do i need to run boost in that range ? thought maybe the fuel was set for that amout of boost. cause as i stated when i raise boost its getting smoother. should i reset the ecm and let it learn again with new boost settings ?

2. dont remember the exact spark timing but when i get on the throttle the spark timing goes wide open and stays there til i get off the throttle. is this normal ?
 
been looking over the logs and was noticing my injector pw . the injector pw will drop dramatically in one frame about a 1/3 of the previous frame then the next it goes right back. could this be my popping problem ?

Generally if a chip is set up for certain amount of boost, it will be rich or lean if you run lower or higher boost than it's programmed for.

Yes, spark advance should flat line at the target during wot.

1st I would look into why your not getting enough tps voltage during wot. Is your mat under the pedal? Should be seeing at least 3.75-4.00. Check wot tps with key on engine off.

2nd You are lean. Verify fuel pressure is rising with boost.

The logs you posted are no good the data is all spiky, I would say you did not clean off the ecm goo off and the PL is not getting a good connection, or your car has grounds off on the heads.
