My bad. It is http://www.leatherseats.com that I was thinking about. They normally have the same applications since they both use Katzkins covers.
As an aside, if I were to do this in my car, I would probably go with either Jax or ABS since they have a history of supporting the TR community. I DO know that the leather at leatherseats and autoleathers is of very good quality though.

Only 1 vendor sells Katzkins, and thats Alan Faircloth at Car Motorsports. He has exclusive rights with them and wont let them sell to anyone else. He also MIGHT have had GM crackdown on people reproducing various TR logos, emblems, etc in an effort to eleminate the competition. Why do you think Kirbans and the like dont sell many reprod things anymore???

I wouldnt buy anything from him or Car Motorsports but I hear their seat covers are nice and there carpet is the best.

Actually, autoleathers and leatherseats both sell Katzkins covers. They just don't do anything with the logos. Leatherseats.com appears to be the one with the regal seat patterns right now. Unless you're only talking about TB.com vendors. I've dealt with both through the Lexus clubs and full sized chevy truck clubs.

If they do they wont when Alan Faircloth finds out.Jax used to sell Katzkin until Alan Faircloth put a stop to it.

Yea... Paul makes all the buick seatcovers. I wouldnt have it any other way. He is very skilfull and picky. I have my interior in leather too and love it!

Another vote for Paul at JAX. My wife's light blue 87T has seats from Paul's shop, they are two tone blue and grey leather just like a blue GN would be. I had Paul do the installation and rebuild the seats with new foams and such, including stitched upper door panels. Total was about $1000 installed.

People really notice this interior at the car shows, everybody wants to know where it came from.

The Jax seat covers are AWESOME! I have had a set in my GN for about a year now. High quality stuff, I am very happy with them.

"Seat covers" generally refers to the original, stitched-on fabric of the seat.

is there such a thing as "leather seat protectors", basically "skins" you would pull on over the original, exisiting fabric to protect it???

sort of like the aftermarket "sheepskin" covers (which I detest, but to each his own), but in a more tasteful & snug fitting leather look ??
