Either way congrats to Len for running 9's:)

That is the second 109 block recently to come out of the "desert" recently that has run in the 9's. Wonder how the big cubic inch alum blocks we have in the works will run?:)

lisa will be at her moms in az. shop will be closed for 2 weeks. we all need the brake. but tim and dan will both have video's.

way to go Len!!! It's awsome to see someones hard work pay off, the picture of the motor you sent me was pretty impressive. Considering the fact you had another great set of Champion heads to flow the numbers and no doubt a great tuneup to start with, it doesn't surprise me to see your success. By the way, how much boost were you running with?

Okay now I see why you're not legal for TSM.... Too bad they don't allow sheet metal intakes cause you're car could be very competitive in the class!

BTW, is your 109 motor stroked or is it a stock cubic inch type motor (stock 3.400" stroke)?

Next time somebody asks if the stock crank and rods are good enough for 10's I think I'll just post a link to this thread:D

Thanks:)

Len,

You are the man. John better watch out for you when you turn up the boost!;)

Congradulations Len! BTW you suck J/K. ;) lol that is awesome!

For those of you that think the air is good out here in the desert there is at least a 2 tenths difference between LV and BG.

The comment I made to Nick about the wonderful desert air was a joke.... On a track that is closer to sea level and has better air his car should definitely pick up.... You guys out there in the desert should think about a nice Liquid IC:)

Congrats Len!!

I am planning on rebuilding my block with stock crank, rods, but will use forged pistons and a girdle. I guess I shouldn't worry about how well it would hold up into the high 10's. ;)

BTW, thanks for the excellent service on my tranny. I had you rebuild it in April and it's running great!
