Len Freeman Performance Transmission Las Vegas

Hey Gang,

I just want to post what a GREAT transmission guy I have... Len Freeman of Performance Transmission Las Vegas. I got a transmission from him in May and about a month later I lost 2nd gear. When I called him and told him what was happening with my transmission. He told me he got a bad batch of wide bands. From ??? ???? And mine was the 4th transmission out of the batch of wide bands he got to go bad. When he told me that fear set in. I knew he'll warranty and fix the transmission. But I thought Oh..no my car being a dally driver. I would have to put the old trans. back in to get around until my trans. get fixed. And pull it back out when the trans. gets back. AND I'll have to pay the shipping (from Hawaii) to send the trans, back to get fixed. Well let me tell you Len stepped up and said "I want to make it right. I'll do whatever to make it right?" I asked him if he could send me another transmission? So I can keep on driving. And swap the trans. only once. He said "OK I build you another transmission AND take care of the shipping" How's that for Customer service? Thanks!!! Len

I believe I was the unfortunate individual who discovered the bad batch of bands.
I had Len rebuild my tranny back in January of this year. After reinstallation I got exactly 89 miles before I lost second. Called Len and explained the problem, I think he thought I was kidding him. He sent me the shipping container and I returned the transmission back to him. He sent it back 2 days later and it has worked flawless since and has seen 100+ transbrake launches.
Although I haven't met Len personally, we've spoken numerous times on the phone and I consider him a friend. He shows a great deal of integrity but more importantly to me, he is a man of his word!
