Cool stuff. I wonder how long it lasts, as the silvering on mirrors turns black and clear coats don't look good forever. I wonder if you can do a clear ceramic coat in stead. That would be harder and last longer. Not sure if it would be compatible though.

Ud have to be able to heat the part Mike. A lot of heat.
Originally it yellowed. Yellow is in most american chrome type coatings..,Europeans use blue tint.( looks better too).
They do make some clear protective coatings that may work.
 
i wonder how much it would cost to paint a whole car?
my Camaro would be pretty bitchin in Chrome..

It looks like a really cool process for smaller parts like Jay was saying. The nice thing is that you can do metal work and use filler prior to applying the first coat so the part will look brand new once your done. Too bad I don't have anything to try it out on right now.
