I apologize, was not aware of the rule. I would like to get $8000 out of the car, although the reserve has been set considerably lower.

It will be a shame if I can't sell it soon, I am in danger of losing my storage for the winter. In case you are unfamiliar with Minnesota winters they are not very condusive to outdoor car storage. I would hate to have to leave the Roadmaster out in the cold for the next 5 months, I hate scraping my windows in the morning.

how much or how bad is the rust on this car, being from the great white north??

There is absolutely no rust on the car anywhere. I purchased car from the south and it spends 11 months of the year in storage.
