let me introduce my car

ok here is my ride i am tryin to get runnin but as with any project fix one thing and find another problem. so i am workin it out 1 at a time.

my car:
block bored 40 over
heads home proted
cam? not surewas told bigger than stock
turbo stock for the minute
injectors 50 lb was told when bought them
walbro 340 hot wired
auto meter gauges, oil, water, tranny temp, boost/vac, volt, fuel pressure
no cat
posi stock not sure of gears?
120 amp alt w/ electric fans adjustable controller
optima yellow top
87 ecm but dont know chip?

as you can see i bought someone elses project picked up the pieces. currently does start but runs real rich for initial start then begins to clean up.
have not been able to drive it on the street as of yet due to cont working out bugs, alternator getting built right now will have it back tomorrow. please feel free to yell out some thoughts about it. was told it was 12 sec car before they took it apart to "restore it" they even should me mid to low 12's time slips from last yr.

I would get a scan tool first and post numbers. This will help speed up the debugging process. I am not pushing any type of scan tool but I chose the Scanmaster2 only due to the ease of use and your can see it while testing under power. Just my idea of a starting place. Brad

50lb injectors with a stock turbo??????

12's with a stock hot air turbo, no alky????? ummm not happinin..sorry dude.

Just a guess but I would say they ripped you off and pulled the bigger turbo, sold it and stuck the old stock turbo on it to sell the car. Sounds like you have your hands full. Brad has made a good suggestion, scantool without one your are in chuck and pluck land and thats very expensive...

Mid 12s are possible on the stock turbo. I've trapped 106mph on the stocker but I had a 2.3 60' which stopped me in the 13s.

In the meantime, before you get the scantool, verify your fuel pressure and make of chip, and injector size.
