To hope and pray all of our Floridian and South East boys and their families, are all ok. Has anybody heard from Cal? He took almost a direct hit. I know Jesse is destroyed. This is where the two boards need to unite. I feel very badly for all the Turbo buicks.com guys as well , as alot of them are from that area. Hey, these may be just message boards ,but down deep, we are all a family and all care for the whole community. Everybody not involved or effected by this rare inclement weather should feel lucky. Alot of people and members have lost everything. I would like those, who have suffered losses, to post or get somebody to post for them who have had damage or loss of life.
Please , as a community , lets rally around to see what we can do to help them. To those who lost everything, I and we, sincerly feel a loss. I would like to see ANY and ALL of our members stand up and ask: "What can I do to help? "
I would like to see a member or members step up and volunteer to help and maybe set up something up to send some assistance.
What do you guys think?
I for one, feel their pain and losses.
Tonight, go home a thank your lucky stars and the Lord, that it is not you or your family.

What else can we do to help? That is the question......

Thanks for the concern Bruce. This storm was much, much worse than the last one. We loss a bunch of shingles, privacy fence, a tree, etc.. but the family is fine and we are starting to get buisness back to normal. Looking forward to playing 3rd base on the BlackJack table next week

We lost ALOT of shingles and had the roof taken down to the plywood over the garage and had a big leak. The drywall was falling in on the GN, unfortunately i couldnt move it cause the engine wasnt in yet. We lost about half the fence and a tree fell on the Tahoe. It wasnt very much fun. For us Charlie was worse then the last 2. Hope everyone else is doing good.
I did find out if you own your own house you can pull your own permit and do your own roof. A roofer recommended by my Ins Co. tried to rape us on cost and then tried to strongarm us into signing a contract. So everyone be careful and get the facts.

After the cam sensor left me stranded in Miami when you and Louie tried to help me over the phone, i pulled the heads because i thought the headgasket was going. Turned out it had been going for awhile, plus the wrist pins were worn and the #1 piston was making contact with the cylinder wall at the top of the stroke. I called you at the Nats to ask you for some advice and we got disconnected. I tried back 3 times and got no answer. I figured you to be too busy. I tried Louie to ask him about his motor, when he talked to me about selling it, but he never answered any messages or emails.
Anyways its been rebuilt and has about 500 miles now.

Bruce and all of the people who have called or sent me a email , Thank you for your prayers and kind words.

My home and my business have taken a hard hit by the last 2 hurricans...but me and my family are doing good.
Now its time to rebuild (again).

I wish I could see some of my west coast friends at the vegas event and just get away for a little while but I need to stay here and help others who have been hit hard by the hurricanes and dam these hurricanes are $$$$$ expensive .

Just in case some of you did'nt know I am a Building Contractor , remolding and new construction is what I have been doing in fl for 13 yrs.... I will not be able to do the work on your homes (Me and my 9 men crews are over booked) but I will help you with making sure your not being taken advantage of by non license or license roofing or building contractor , its sick that some people try to take advantage of people already down on there luck , also please be very carful with your insurance company , there main goal is to save there company money and those public adjusters are not to be fully trusted eather.
