Omg , wife just got home from the hospital. Two women under the age of 40, came end with coughing, short of breath, and a low fever. After about 30 minutes one of the women wanted to know if the oxygen mask was working right it was check and told yes, 10 minutes later she coded and was gone. The second lasted two hours longer and died. First time I have ever seen wife cry about work, she has seen a lot of bad stuff over the years but this shit is killing her soul. I told her maybe she should go ahead and retire, no way with this going on. I can’t tell her I really don’t want to hear this stuff. But I’m the one she is venting too. It has become a sad world

Gentlemen- My wife has been relatively high up in Health Care since 1992. This is from a doctor in her hospital, we have 2 large (for us) hospitals in our town of 35000 in the Middle of Nebraska. The draw as you can read is approximately 190,000 from many rural farm towns 5000 and less in our area. This is peanuts compared to a lot of you all, but just look at the ratio's. He has been a very well respected doctor for a lot of years.
As most of you know I am a pulmonary and critical care physician in Kearney. I practice at both hospitals and spend a lot of my day in the ICU. I have now seen Covid-19 firsthand and have watched a man die from it. Sadly he is the first of what will likely be many. I know watching the coverage of the pandemic on TV can be mind numbing and it is easy to feel a sense of detachment about what is going on in cities like New York and Seattle. I have stopped watching the coverage and simply want to focus on here and now. Covid-19 is here, now. It will be here for the foreseeable future and it is going to get really bad. People you know will die. Before I talk about what we can do to minimize the damage I want to give you some simple and widely validated facts. 81% of people who get it have mild symptoms that resolve in days to weeks. That doesn’t sound so bad does it. Until you realize that 14% are sick enough to be in the hospital, 5% are in the icu and require life support and about 2% die. So if 100 people get it that is 14 hospital beds and 5 ventilators occupied. In most communities the attack rate is 30-70% of the population. There are about 50000 people in Buffalo county. Let’s be hopeful and say only 30% or 15000 get the virus. That’s 2100 hospitalizations and 750 patients on life support and 300 deaths. I need to mention that the drawing area for the two hospitals covers a population of 190000. Staggering. The only way we can possibly manage this situation is to dramatically slow its progression. It will take more than social distancing to make it work. It has not worked most places. We have to dramatically reduce our physical interactions with each other for several months. One thing about this virus that does not get talked about is that it is most contagious BEFORE a person has symptoms. And most teens and young adults have few if any symptoms with this infection. Those two facts are I believe the reason it appears to spread so quickly and comes out of nowhere. If we wait till we have symptoms to reduce our interactions we have already infected people around us. We all need to hunker down in our own homes for awhile and most importantly keep your kids at home away from other kids. Hard I know. But if you can do this you will literally be saving lives. You will be the heroes. We will have an effective treatment and/or a vaccine eventually. Hopefully by fall. Pray that it is sooner. Then we can all get back to whatever it was we were doing before this horrible disaster hit. Short term pain for long term gain and as I said you will be saving the lives of people you know. If you made it all the way through this you’re a trooper and I want to reward you by letting you in on a little secret: there is toilet paper at Family Fresh Market right now!

We get to see the true character of companies and individuals during this crisis:
- Where is the top 1% when the rest of us are down? If they really own 80% (or more) of all the money in the US lets see some action. We're all headed to the same place, I can imagine the question: What did you do with all I put you in charge of?
- Which companies are helping when America is in need?
- Makes me realize how ludicrous it is to pay an athlete millions but pennies to the life savers (the real heroes). If I see another Kobe tribute I'm going to get sick.
- Which companies are simply taking everyone to the cleaners or real quick to drop their workforce but pay their CEO millions?
Just keeping my eyes open so I can make sure I drop the bad and support the good companies when things turn around.

I still believe this is a power play by the nwo to attempt again to bring down the United States because they can't have their world rule with the country as it is. Plus their allies, the msm, are helping to make it sound as bad as it possibly can.
CDC numbers for 2017-18 flu season. 45 million cases. 810,000 hospitalizations. 61,000 deaths.
1.7 million Americans get hospital acquired infections each year. 99,000 die.
John Hopkins study. 250,000 deaths per year from medical errors and could be as high as 440,000.
There's 410,000 deaths and possibly about 600,000 just from those but where's the outrage over that. I guess it doesn't fit the narrative. Some reports say that deaths are being attributed to the virus that have nothing to do with it. A sneaky, lowly money grab by some?
No offense to doctors or nurses because they are not perfect, we all make mistakes but believe this will end up being the biggest hoax in history.
