Will they work properly with 1/2 turn after 0 lash. Iron heads with 1.44" double roller springs? The once recommend .002" preload is cutting things a little to fine for my liking.

They will work. You will probably lose a little hp. I like it when they have lash after i make a pass. At least i know the valves are closing.
