So I measured my zero lash to be 7.945". Ordered 8" pushrods giving me roughly .050 lifter preload. When the new pushrods are installed I can spin the ones that are on the base circle. There does not seem to be any free play up and down but the rockers can be moved from side to side on the shaft. Is this normal with a properly set up valve train?

I have not measured the side to side yet, so it's also normal to be able to spin the the pushrods by hand? It has resistance when doing so.
