What is the difference in each of their TA49's?

From Full Throttle Speed the Limit is $719.99 and the Precision is $804.99.

Not all turbos are equal. The cost difference could be in the labor/machine work put into the product. Example: An AC Delco oil filter is the same, no matter were you buy it. A turbo, or an engine, or a piston are not stamped out items. A TRW vs JE - they are both aluminum, both 3.83", and etc; but about $100 different in cost. You get the idea. Regarding tubos - you have bearing style, bearing clearances, machine work on backplates, etc, etc. I would not suggest the purchase of a turbo, or an engine, based on price alone. I am not supporting one company over another, I have used all at one point.

I these situations, if I know a vendor from previous dealings, I go with them even though they may be slightly higher.
If vendors are involved I've never dealt with, call them up and talk to their reps...whichever one gives you the most confidence in dealing with is the one to go with, if one has an attitude, go with the other...just my experience..and I never go with one that bad mouths the other, just don't like that style...
In this case, I don't think you can go wrong with either, both have a little bit different parts/builds, both stand behind their products.

I have products from both dealers (front mount from Precision and Turbo from limit). Limit's customer service is unbelievable. If I ran a buisness I would not go go the level that Limit does as it exceeds reasonble business dealings. This is not to be taken as a knock against Precision as they are exceptional as well but as I already stated Limit is crazy on customer service.
