Wanted to have a nice comparison so we can all see what different combinations weigh. Here are a few from my GN:

215/60 Eagle GT2 on stock wheel = 55 lbs.

215/60 Eagle GT+4 on stock wheel = 52 lbs.

255/60 Pep Boy Futura on stock wheel = 59 lbs.

G60-15 M&H Racemaster on 7" steel US Wheel series 97 = 43 lbs.

Weighed on my bathroom scale.

What do your wheel and tire combinations weigh?

lets see, i had a completely bald set of 255/60 BFG TA radials on stock GN wheels, and i mean the cord came through a few days after this. on my bathroom scale, they weighed 58 pounds each. i believe i weighed a set of trans am GTA GNX style wheels, 16 inchers with 245/50 tires, with 125 miles on em, brand new in other words, on the same scale, and were somewhere around 40. thats 18 pounds off each wheel, or, 70 or so total. 72 if you wanna be exact. quite a bit in my opinion.

I've measured the stock, steel GN wheel (no tire) at 28 lbs.

Are the 87 regular t-type wheels lighter than a GN wheel? I thought they are but I am not sure thanks

I'd be interested in knowing the weight of a Centerline Telstar in 15x7 or 15x8 size !

wheel weights

after a lot of research on wheel weights I have come to the conclusion weld pro stars (15") are the lightest. I got some 15 x 8's and weighed them at 14lbs.

Other weights I was able to find are:

Centerline Convo-pro 15x 8 1/2 = 15 lbs, Autodrags 1 lb heavier (per Centerline)

Centerline Telstars 15x8 = 17 lbs

Weld Prostar XP 15x8=17lb, 17x8=20 1/2 lbs

ROH ZR6 17x8 1/2 =25lbs
ROH Snypers 17x8 1/2 = 25lbs (per ROH)

TA 16"x8 = 25lbs (per Classic industries)

stock GN wheels =28lbs

T-Type wheels=15lbs

the only ones I actually weighed myself are the Weld Pro stars, so feel free to correct me on all others.

Hmmm, the T-Type wheel I weighed was 19#s, and 16x8 GNX look wheel was 16#, I think it was from classic too.

WarpSpeed, are you certain about the Classic GNX style wheel weighing 16 lbs? Thats 9 lbs lighter than they told me over the phone.Thanks.

Real GTA wheels weigh about 18#. At least mine do

T-type wheel with 275/60 BFG Drag Radial: 49 lbs

Yeah, I weighed it on the shipping scale at work a couple years ago,,, the T-type was 19#, and the GN wheel was 29#.....

I weighed some GTA wheels the other day and got 17.4 lbs for the fronts and 17.6 lbs for the rears.
