Wife is on her way home to North Iowa from KC as we speak...she's all freaked out as she said that's all that's on the radio.

See the square just above where it says "Primary" and way up in the left corner of that square... No problem, here!!
Just saying... ;) although it rains all the time...

Welcome to the midwest....Kansas...Oklahoma....northern Texas....you're all prone to getting sucked up by a whirly cloud. I would not say it's "a little early" for tornadoes....April thru June is tornado season. Early would be like the towns in Indiana that were nailed only a month or so ago. Even more so is wherever it was that had a tornado hit them like on Jan 2.

I guess I should have clarified, I meant early as in to early for my liking, not calendar early.

Stay safe guys... Mother nature has shown her wrath already this year. I guess thats why NJ is so damn exspensive to live in ,Dont have many chances for Tornado's around here . but stay safe.

If you'd have moved out here by manhattan there'd have been one over your head earlier tonight!!

What sucks is I feel compelled to stay up until all this crap runs through but I keep dozing off. I guess we got a siren a block away.....

Yea crazy ish huh.. is tornado damage in homeowners out there? Or is that like an extra with like flood damage ? Couldnt imagine forking up cash to rebuild.

Yeah, we had the sirens go off twice tonight. The first tornado went to the east of us then the next one was to the west of us then went back up into the storm where it belongs. Spent a long time in the basement this evening but, we are all safe and that is what counts.

You have a short memory Grump, we had a cat 3 less than a year ago...seems mother nature is following suit with the rest of the world being upside down

If you think it is early Ty think about the henryville Indiana tornado that was over a month ago.

Smoked Mid Continent Airport in Wichita. Left at 4 am to take the wife there to fly out to Florida, they got 1/2 way there and flight cancelled.... Waiting to see whats next.

I'm in AL and to me it seems like these tornados the last couple of years have intensified and are a little early. We had two on the ground that were a mile apart within a mile of my house last month...both EF2. Hope everyone stays safe during this severe weather season.
