Got the 9 year old boy this for Christmas....

http://www.ragingrecreation.com/images/srr_47cc.jpg

With shipping it was $295 off ebay.

47cc two stroke, disc brake, one wheel drive, one wheel stop, but its SOOOO COOOL!!!

He was keeping up with the cars on our street (he is on the sidewalk) and laying patches of rubber (he's only like 65 lbs). A little bit of snow today and he's doing massive donuts.

What a riot. Wish they had this stuff (this cheap) when I was kid.

WOW! What a steal, most of the things on ebay that are similiar are around that price, PLUS another $100-$150 for shipping. Sounds like he's getting practice doing donuts, so now when he's older and takes the WRX out, you'll know exactly what he's doing:eek:

There isn't, you can walk or ride a bicycle as fast as you like on the sidewalk.

Motorized vehicles are prohibited from using bikepaths and/or sidewalks. Those are for pedistrian traffic only. Motor vehicles belong on roads or private property. Since that type of vehicle isn't registered to be driven on a roadway by a licensed driver it can't be there. Now that leaves......private property only.

Traffic law 101 is over. :o

Party Wrecker:(

What is the difference anymore everything is illegal. I like the new one here in NJ, You cannot leave your car running anymore in WAWA or even your driveway:mad: You can get a ticket, well there goes the remote start business:(

This applies to Truck Stops as well, so here is a Truck driver who pulls over in 20 degree weather and has to shut his truck off, no heat:eek:

like that's going to happen!!

haha, that looks a lot like a death trap my brother built. its a garden cart, ment to set sideways on, and roll along to do your gardening while not having to walk. then he got a rototiller (notice any theme here) with a 4hp briggs engine, some wheel borrow wheels, welded it together, threw some extremely tall gears on it.

its not fun. you are setting a foot in the air on a thing less than a foot wide, that can do about 45 mph with unbalanced wheels. Hahaha, what am i saying its not fun! and it doesn't hurt that bad when you fall... ask me how i know.

i didn't see what state your in, but in colorado any thing under 50cc's is allowed to be on the streets without a lisence, the only catch is you have to have a drivers lisence, and it can't be a go ped. other than that you can do whatever you want!

Njturbo... The men in black suits will be knocking soon to take you to the "re-education" camp;)

Motor vehicles on sidewalks or unlicensed motor vehicles on roads has been illegal here since I can remember. It's been a least 25 years back when I had my dirt bike and Honda Spree mopeds were just coming out.

It's also been illegal here as long as I can recall to leave a running car idling unattended = civil infraction. It's a misdemeanor to leave a child unattended in a running car. We don't write anyone tickets for warming up their car, that's just nuts. Heck, we still do "lock outs" and open their doors when the dopes lock their keys in the ignition with the car running.

I can't speak for NJ but in MI the trucker is just fine with his engine running because he's still in the vehicle thus it's still being "attended".

There are signs posted at the WAWA here up to a $3000 fine for leaving your car running. Well there is a plan, Here a hard working guy pulls over to sleep with his truck running with the heat on, now he gets a ticket. Let's just keep a tired trucker on the road because he knows he cannot stop and sleep:rolleyes:

That is were the system stinks, but you know what they say, it is the minority that screams the loudest. Grease the squeaky wheel. :D

Idling trucks, school buses and public and private transportation buses contribute to the degradation of local air quality. Current regulations limit engine idling to three minutes. Proposed changes to NJAC 7:27-14, 15, 27A and 27B would give authority to state and local governments to fine offenders.

I guess in one respect it makes you wonder how much fuel goes up in smoke, I just have a problem with Police waiting at WAWA to write tickets for people who run inside for a coffee and a donut. I mean give me a BREAK!!!

Todd make sure your child wears a helmet, our neighbors had something like that. They flipped it with no helmet, it was a ugly site.
:(

They are fun though:cool: Wish Santa bought me one. :D
