Locating a good crank?

Gentlemen,
Am I not getting something here? Are crankshafts for the 3.8 Turbo engines not available anywhere new? Mine has been turned .020 on both the rods and mains, and I know it's eventually going to give the way I drive. So where do we go to to get a new crank, on top of that where do we go to get a steel crank? - BB

They are one and the same! Only new crank you can get is a steel crank from the aftermarket for $2k a pop. Get another .010"/.010" and be happy! I wish someone made a nice forged unit for $1k or less like for the SBC because I would try one. Until then.....

That just seems dumb

It seems to me that there are enough TR enthusiasts out there to support someone building a steel crank for under $1000.00. Yet, what I'm seeing is that there just aint none! Well by golly I might just do it myself! - BB
