Location of your scan tool

Hey guys- Im gonna order a directscan this week, do any of you guys have the laptop permenently mounted in your car, i dont just want it laying in there. i need to drive mine to work and back for a while- and also go to the track with it- so i need some creature comforts, anyone have an idea where to put the laptop? thanks

I just ordered direct scan and installed last week and when the car is parked i do not have the laptop in there because of charging needs. however you can get a laptop stand that hooks to the pass. seat, and when you dont want it in their you can un-hook it, i e-mailed Joe who makes them and that is what he said, it uses a latch that still leaves the bottom part of the stand hooked up so you dont have to screw it down again and again, but still being able to take the laptop out. the cost of it is $165-$175. but for right now i just leave it on the pass. seat.
