lock/unlock problem? help

ive read through tons of old posts, and some seem the same as mine some dont so i wanted to ask...


when drivinh on the highway....the converter locks, and unlocks constantly, always around 60-65....while driving above thatspeed, when i tap the brake the converter does unlock...

also, the car seems to almost loose power when trying to accelerate past 90, could the converter locking/unlocking when it shouldnt be causing that also...

i do have a taller then stock tire on the car...

i did get a code for the vss

i dont have a scantool yet, so i know this is gonna be hard
