Anyone do this? This will be a high 10sec low 11sec car.

I hear that the Vigilante single disc even has more clutch area than a stock 12".... Since I locked my D5 3000 stall up on all passes and never had issues.. I suppose this will be ok.

I e-mailed them a couple of weeks ago and asked this same exact question. Their answer was NO! Precision stated that information on their web-site (concerning surface area) was in regards to the multi-disk units.

u will need a multi disk vigilante for this....a single will break at WOT in a car that fast...

there are several posts covering this already....try a search for some more answers...

you can lock up our billet 9/11 style convertors at wot with that combination without a worry and also get a 1 year no hassles warranty .i dont have any good luck with the precision units and dont advocate their use.there are several around this sight that run real fast with them so this statement is certainly not agreed on by all here.im just saying we have had bad experiences especially with the single disk in low power applications nevermind your powerplant.
