Locking up the Converter PTS 9-11

I was wondering if I can use the paper clip perfromance tip from GNTTYPE.org with my PTS 9-11 converter. I know it sounds stupid but i was just wondering. Considerig it is a lock up converter, will using the paper clip trick get me better performance numbers in the 1/4 mile?

sure it will...actually it's better to lock up the converter right after you hit 3rd gear at the top end of the run...it's better to run a switch from the correct terminals on the aldl connector...

I can't imagine fiddling around with a paper clip at 80-90 MPH going down the track. Either wire up a switch or have it burned into your race chip. My TurboTweak chip seems to lock my 9/11 at 90 MPH - you can feel the difference. It's pretty amazing for such a simple "mod".
