Lockup Converter test point

Anybody know if there is a test point to check if converter is getting oil pressure? My converter won"t lock up. I installed new solenoid still no lockup. need next step. Bernie Steffen bstef@mchsi.com

jump the top left and top right aldl connections with a switch in second gear to verify rpm drop.if no drop check continuity to the converter lock up solenoid and if all is well install the 2 springs inboard of the lockup valve outboard to force lock up.put the car in drive.does it stall?if so you have no lockup command via the ecm.if not your converter ,or input shaft o ring may be damaged.

Chris this is just the info I was looking for. The o ne thing I don"t want to do is take this trans out do something to is and still not have any lockup. thanks for the info Bernie Steffen
