What is the best choice when installing a NON lockup valve? The Art Carr non lockup required removing the pump front cover to install a plug.

Do all non lockup kits require the pump plug modifications?

Yes,and c/k ball removed

The trans go valve does not require doing the plug in the pump half.

It is easier to install, and can be done without removing the trans from the car.
