Lonnie diers brc valve body

Hi ,I am looking fo info on the shift quality of this valve body ,i have brf2 with a art carr shift kit and i dont like it ....i would like a 200 to shift like some of the 400 trans i have seen in gns ,nice and tight..thanks

I havent had the time to get the pictures of the governor weights for you yet. My motor is down for the year(at least) Had an overboost from hell and melted the head,push rods, block, piston. Who know what internal damage is done. Don't have the money to fix it so it will sit. I just sent my converter to KevinB to use for the races :biggrin: Hope he gets the win.

i figured id give something cause i know your willing to bring it all this way on your dime . But really i might have a short term fix for ya .. Ive got the stock replacement longblock thats in my album in a crate ready to drop in something else .when i bought the car it had 87tho on the body .not sure on the motor but its an late 80s early 90s longblock ran great . No smoke or knocks . Would get you rolling again real quick . What ya think ? Let me know .

Sorry for the high jack . But my lonnie diers stage 1 would knock you head into the back seat with a stock d5 . Thank god im running 2800=3000 10 inch . Hits hard a fast just like it should . Between dusty & lonnie you cant go wrong .cause they wont let you ..

let me rephrase that ,will the BRC give me nice tame shifts at part throttle (ptc 9 1/2 )3200 stall.. big CK SERVO 275 psi line pressure and not 1 to 2 bang shifts as my art carr set up.....hello lonnie.LOL

would it possibly eliminate the clang sound i have on a low throttle opening low rpm shift 1 2 ....I know you do not have a crystall ball lol

Lonnie, he'd probably like one this is similar to what I have in my car at the moment.
we got at least 70 10 second passes on the trans and a data log on everyone of them. It shifts fast and dead consistent.
