I've got a new 2009 Chev 2500HD coming in for my work truck. Boss told me to find a headache rack for it, since I haul an ATV around. The ones I've seen have the rack sticking above the top of the cab and it looks pretty silly that way, imo. Do any of you have a line on a headache rack that follows the curve of the cab, and doesn't stick up above it? Preferably aluminum, but hey, let me know if you have any suggestions. Thanks!

Sean are you going to put a light bar on the backrack? On my truck I have a "backrack" style one with a full width light bar mounted to it.... It does put the lightbar up 2 inch's or so from the cab but it helps people in smaller cars see it...

Here is a crappy picture of my set up...

Buy some ratchet straps and don't worry about it. I've never had either of my quads move when strap right.

If you want the best, here you go:

Headache Racks

The lights in the rack greatly increase visibility from the rear and look very sharp.

Although this sticks above the cab, that feature is very useful if you are hauling long lumber/pipe/etc. Better than that stuff sitting on your new roof.
