Looking for Help with Dash -

Hi. Im looking for any diagrams or instructions on how to pull out my interior... starting with the dash. Garage is cleaned out and Im anxious to get started. Hoping someone can point me in the right direction.. THANKS.

Look for the dealer body books on ebay the books have everything you need to to dismantle your car. Why are you pulling the dash?

Interior Redo

Thanks, I'll look for those on eBay. I need to paint the dash and do a lot of interior work... so I figured I'll pull it all out and start from the ground up, including new carpet. I just have no idea where/how to start. I'll get on eBay tonight and try to find those books. THX again ! Have a good night.

I would pull all the plastic and loosen the dash and pull it back a little and paint it in the car.There is alot wiring under that dash and the clips are old and brittle.Take lots of pictures and mark all connectors.Before I started mine I had all the glass pulled .Well good luck

nothing wrong with a woman who doesn't mind

turning a few wrenches and getting oil and dirt on them. gotta love that. good luck with your car. hope it works out and your in the perfect place to get help with anything. also may i add to use your digital camera just so you know how it came out and went in.

The vortex buick's site has a step by step on how to remove the dash but no pictures. I've done it, the problem is that EVERY part of the harness that runs into the dash is attached to the back of it. I started just trying to "peel" the dash off of the harness. Took about a weekend to get it out. Took longer to put it back because there are lots of things behind there that aren't connected and I was trying to figure out where they went.
