Im looking for a new car alarm with remote start, and some sort of GPS internet tracking. Anyone recommend any certain alarm with these features and anyone here got a hook up?

my own 2 sense i would stay away from car alarms i feel that all they do is cause a mess under your dash and shorts.

X2, just get a few kill switches in there and make sure you dissable them when away from vehicle, the best car alarm is to always keep and eye on it when you are out and about, park where you can see it at all times. ;)

I could have a million kill switches, but if someone wants to steal my car they will. So giving that information, I would like to find it once its stolen, hence the GPS tracking capability. I dont care how many kill switches you got in ur car, if I want it, Ill just call me buddy who has a tow truck and come get it when you aint looking. Atleast I would want my alarm to send me a text or notice when my alarm went off, then I would like to be able to track it if it ever goes to TJ. Also I could already see where this is going so please dont start posting picks about ur guns and stuff and how they will keep ur car safe. Most cars are stolen when people arent looking so you guns are useless. Most people here have never had to point a weapon at someone with an intent to kill them so I dont need to see pics of your guns. Just wanted info from poeple who use car alarms with said features or who use car alarms period with good succes. I like the Viper alarms but I couldnt not find any that offer GPS tracking.

DEI VIPER GPS TRACKING SYSTEM - eBay (item 120357032394 end time Mar-31-09 08:35:04 PDT)

I believe this is an addition to the actual alarm. From what I've heard, the gps on the viper alarms are very good, some say better than lowjack. I got turned on to the viper alarms by a friend, I really like the system. Money well spent for me, and get a steadfast permanent collar guard. I would not purchase any other alarm now that I know whats good. And I too would like to hear the alarm go off, and at least give me fair warning!

I dont think that link works, but look this up on ebay, and read about it! VIPER GPS210v I have the 791xv alarm.

yes I have one on my other car. its a one time fee with installation I got mine when I bought the car so dealer tax was in there some where I cant remember the price but they come to your home or business for installation it works good. It will give you the address of where your car is at, you can disable the car on the move with your computer / cellphone, it gives real time location, you can spy on your wifes location  I like it better than lo jack cause you don't have to wait for the police to find your car you can do it your self and then call the police or take trusty rusty with you and take your car back

Yeah Brent & I looked at one another when you made your exit down the street as if to say another s life will never be the same. I feel like a drug dealer with a bunch of junkies for customers. Now you have to do us a favor & get meanchicken off my back. I want you to spank his ass & post it all over the kill section. He's a marked man, needs his wings clipped & sent back to the barnyard where he came from. As for reading the boost gauge don't confuse it with the oil pressure gauge like Ralph did. lol

NO! say it aint so LOU you didn't tell that one turn of the boost controller would change my life for ever. and as far as meanchicken goes I'm not messing with that mad bird I remember I had a dog that use to chase cars, can you picture a chicken doing that and revving at you at the same time. and what do you mean that's not my oil pressure gauge on the pillar no wonder it was reading low only 19psi and all this time I was thinking all that white smoke in the back was oil that smelled like rubber :D
