I'm looking for a new wideband and have considered the AEM and PLX setups, but I see they only read 10-20:1 AFRs. My car can sometimes go above 20, and spends a LOT of time around the mid 9's, so I need something that reads that low. Are there any others out there that can read that low that you guys know of?

To diagnose a super rich condition as either a non super rich condition but a faulty WB setup, or to see if the chips just cut wrong, I need another wideband that could potentially read to my old air fuel ratios, or the entire experiment is in vain. Anyone?

It blinks 7.7 every 20 minutes or so. Plus I'm not sure I trust the readings as I hear nothing but bad things about this controller on line. Trying to see if my mid 9 AFRs are the chip, the wideband, or something mechanical like leaks or a sensor. Even if the readings are spot on, it errors out soo often it's becoming useless to me. The others on this board said to replace it and I tend to agree.

I always liked my LC1, I switched to a PLX, but am considering switching back.

what display do you have? (XD1, or other?)

AEM makes 4 others that you can use a gauge with. For the life of me I could not get the LC1 to work for my car. It would go into silly mode after a few minutes of running as well.

I run the NGK Afx and it has a readout built into it.
