Ive got a walbro 255 hot wired in car now- I have a dual pump set up already bought just have to get a hobbs switch- and a extra pump-Would it be easier to get Deatschwerks pump and run that or better to install the dual set up. for me?
Thanks

I'd go dual just to be on the safe side. Also make sure your fuel feed/return lines are up to snuff.

I run a single DW pump FWIW.

To the guys that run dual pumps. Do you inrease the diameter of your fuel supply line also, or does the OEM line still flow enough?

Thanks

i still have stock fuel lines, but i know a few guys that are going way faster then i will ever go, and they are still too

Usually a new supply line (1/2" or -8) is run to the rail and the old supply line used as the new return line.

We are finishing a white turbo T build using one DW pump, and expect it will run into the 10's with some slight mods to the fuel system, so we will be able to answer your question with actual data, not a guess! :)

Hopefully, the weather will not get too hot the next few weeks so we can do some track testing to get the needed data.

We've run 10.03 @136 on a single DW pump with modded fuel lines. I just removed all the Saginaw fittings on the entire system and replaced with steel compression fittings and used a BG fuel filter under the hood. Stock line size, though. We now just went to the new Aeromotive pump just to be safe.

A single DW wont' run 79# injectors static, but should be ok to around 80-85% duty cycle.

To run those inj static (or near static) you'll need about 80 gph (at 70 psi).

Ill be running the dual pump set up like I said before and go from there.
