I'm looking for resources (people or tech articles) on building up a 3.8 N/A motor.
It'll be a "Hot Air... and then some!"
We're building a cheap bracket car with all the spare parts we have laying around. The car already has an aluminum 4bbl intake, carb, TH350 trans, and 3.73 posi rear. Right off the bat (we haven't researched this yet), we're looking to do cam, ported heads & possible milling to increase compression, and a higher stall converter. Short term goals would be to get the car into the low 14's.
We already have the Buick Power Source manual and we just got the Ruggles Stage 1 manual yesterday. Scaning through it quickly, we see there is talk about the 4bbl intake & carb. Is there anything else out there that goes into detail about cam, head, and converter selection? Any of you guys have any personal experience you'd be willing to share?
